Trail Riders Motel in Granby, Colorado has definitely been around for quite some time, though we’re not sure for exactly how long. A vintage postcard (from the 1950s?) shows the sign looking relatively the same with the ‘Motel’ part reading ‘Lodge’ and states the motel is “A completely modern motel” with hot water heat, wall-to-wall carpeting, and tile baths. Close to the western entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, we imagine it’s seen many, many happy tourists enjoying the beautiful scenery over the years.
